Healthcare Should Feel Human
IziMed was built from a simple belief:
No one facing chronic illness, complex conditions, or overwhelming healthcare systems should have to navigate it alone.
When life is already heavy, the process should not become heavier.
That is why we exist.
YOUR HEALTH IS OUR MISSION
We don’t stop until you get the care you deserve.
At IziMed, advocacy is not passive.
We do not simply point patients toward resources and wish them luck. We step into the process with them. When referrals stall, insurance creates barriers, appointments get delayed, prescriptions fall through, or families feel overwhelmed, we stay in the fight.
That may mean countless phone calls, resubmitted paperwork, coordinating between multiple offices, pursuing additional referrals, helping secure second opinions, escalating issues, or showing up in person when needed to help move care forward.
Because too often, patients facing chronic and complex conditions are left exhausted trying to navigate a healthcare system that feels fragmented, impersonal, and impossible to keep up with alone.
At IziMed, we believe people deserve more than another automated message, another unanswered voicemail, or another dead end.
They deserve someone who will advocate relentlessly on their behalf with persistence, urgency, compassion, and heart.
We cannot promise that every outcome will go exactly as planned. But we can promise this:
We will not stop showing up for our patients when healthcare gets hard.
why izimed was founded
IziMed was built from years of firsthand experience working inside the modern healthcare system.
Our founder, Izi, brings advanced academic training in pre-medicine and healthcare management, along with more than a decade of experience across multiple areas of medicine and healthcare operations. His background spans emergency medicine, pulmonary and critical care, orthopedic trauma surgery, nephrology, chronic care management, primary care, family medicine, pain management, and complex outpatient specialty coordination.
Over the years, he has worked directly alongside physicians, surgeons, specialists, nurses, care teams, pharmacies, insurance companies, and healthcare organizations while supporting patients navigating some of the most difficult and medically complex seasons of their lives.
His experience includes over 24,000 hours of direct patient facing clinical experience, in addition to extensive work in patient advocacy, referrals, care coordination, chronic care management, post-operative support, medication management, insurance authorization workflows, specialist scheduling, and healthcare systems navigation. Through that work, one reality became impossible to ignore:
Many patients are not failing the healthcare system.
The healthcare system is failing them.
Too often, patients with chronic and complex conditions are left trying to navigate a fragmented system alone. They are expected to understand medical terminology, coordinate multiple specialists, fight insurance denials, manage medications, secure referrals, track appointments, recover from procedures, and advocate for themselves while already exhausted physically, emotionally, and financially. It’s clear: families are overwhelmed, Caregivers keep burning out…Patients fall through cracks every day and many people simply do not know where to turn. IziMed was created to step into that gap.
